From the notes from my 7/11/23 Zoom call with the neurosurgeon:
It is my impression that the patient presents with clear radiographic evidence of progression in the left parieto-occipital resection cavity. As such and given the control of the most recently resected and seeded area in the right temporal lobe and the overall systemic disease control I have discussed the various options and have recommended to proceed with another surgical resection. Given the wide opening of the cavity into the ventricular system, placement of radioactive seeds would be relatively contra-indicated and would proceed with postop radiosurgery. Risks, benefits and alternatives were discussed and I answered all the patient's questions to his satisfaction.
