My radiation oncologist said my scan results looked good on my most recent MRI in December. Her reading agreed with the radiologist's reading this time. Both agreed, no new issues/changes.
Next MRI will be in 3 months (March '20).
COMPARISON: None.
TECHNIQUE: Multiple sequences through the brain were acquired at 3.0 tesla.
CONTRAST MEDIA: Intravenous gadolinium chelate was administered for post-contrast imaging.
FINDINGS:
Compared with September 19, 2019, no significant change in areas of nodular enhancement along the treatment site at, and extending upwards from, the posterior horn of left lateral ventricle.
Additional sites of previously treated metastases are unchanged in appearance including: 10 mm left anterior temporal horn lesion, 3 mm T1 hyperintense nodule along the left choroid plexus (series 600, image 657) as well as right anterior temporal horn (4mm). Similar thin enhancement along right temporal resection cavity compatible with treatment change. The left parietal resection cavity is unchanged.
No new sites of abnormal parenchymal, ependymal, or meningeal enhancement.
No acute intracranial hemorrhage or new sites of abnormal magnetic susceptibility.
Normal size and configuration the ventricles without hydrocephalus.
Intracranial vascular flow voids. Normal/symmetric ASL perfusion maps.
IMPRESSION:
Stable intracranial metastases compared with September 19, 2019, with similar appearance of multiple treated metastases and nodular enhancement along the left occipital resection site.
